chirashi (チラシ) are promotional, mini film posters, unique to japan, located in cinema lobbies.

after visiting tokyo in 2024, and stumbling across a small chirashi store under one of the train stations, i became enthralled in collecting them. this store had chirashi for films released that year, and originals dating back to the 70’s. it was like entering my personal wonderland, as someone who loves film and who also has an affinity for cool posters i can hang on my wall.

each chirashi has information about the film, as well as it’s cast and crew, on it’s back. they are size B5 (11’’ x 7’’) and all on this website are mint condition!
